Plans and needs for 2010
This year, CB10 will include even more events, span two weekends, and take place in six neighborhoods. Our program partners typically include community groups, neighborhood non-profits, architecture firms and others, each helping to publicize Common Boston through their own networks. The Boston Society of Architects generously provides us with organizational support throughout the year. However, we still need help from companies, businesses, and people like you! Here’s how you can be a part of Common Boston 2010:
Be a Volunteer
Being our largest festival ever, we need more volunteers than ever. Please come to our Volunteer Orientation meeting, 6:30pm June 14th, 2010, at the Boston Society of Architects (52 Broad Street, Boston MA 02109): http://commonboston.org/schedule/. We need help welcoming people to tours, setting up at special events, and with final preparations (including the creation of inflatable dressing rooms!). Please email info@commonboston.org for more information.
Be a Supporter
Donate $25, $50 or more (up to $250), in cash or in-kind, and we’ll list you on our website: www.commonboston.org.
Be an Event Sponsor
Donate $250 or more (up to $1,000) in cash or in-kind, and we’ll give you Supporter benefits, acknowledge you at an event or in a neighborhood of your choice, and publicize you in our festival brochure. We’ll also list you in the BSA’s monthly Chapter Letter, which goes out to its full membership.
Be a Weeklong Sponsor
Donate $1,000 or more in cash or in-kind, and we’ll give you Event Sponsor benefits and acknowledge you on-site at ALL festival events.
